On 8/28/18 we worked primarily on our Lexia for learning app on the ipads.   The previous day we tried out Khan Academy and the girls really enjoyed it as it was a chance to work on their wireless keyboards.  I think teaching both handwriting and typing is very important at their age (they are learning well ahead of when I did) and it also helps Lily to show us that she is capable of spelling words without having to take the time to write them down each time or verbally give us the spelling.  She has more control because she can quickly type the words and then do a handwriting representation of the word she has typed.

The girls are doing very well with Lexia and the information they are learning correlates to the language we are learning with other programs such as Hooked on Phonics and Montessori based equipment.
