We worked with decimal system and math yesterday and used a dry erase board to plot out number placement value to properly learn how to read numbers out loud.  The girls will sometimes get confused between hundreds and thousands so I found this a good activity.   We wrote down numbers and placed their values easily reading them.   Afterwards we did the bank game (Montessori) and followed through by taking our visual numbers and matching their quantities with the golden bead material.  After completion we worked in our math workbooks and used the blue counting rods, squares and blocks to do the worksheet counting.
