Level K workbooks mostly used for handwriting and coloring skills as the material is too simplified for benefiting learning other than repetition.  I keep my older workbooks specifically for handwriting practice.  They are not overwhelming and allows the kiddo to focus more on the handwriting and less about how much work is in front of them.
