We use a broad array of montessori materials and books to represent the earth, continents and landforms.  On this day we used a big foam world puzzle and United States of America puzzle and put those together talking about the different items we were placing.  We studied landforms with the montessori landform tiles and compared those landforms to a map and then the globes.  We used traditional globes and montessori globes.
